Romance
Romance is a fairly wide arching term but my versions of romance is usually the kind filled with drama and a HEA (Happily Ever After) only earned after both parties have gone through the wringer and came out the other side stronger and a bit more broken at the same time. I'm not, Nor will I ever be interested in roleplays where everything begins perfect and stays perfect and ends perfect. Perfect is not fun. Romance is also best used in conjunction with other Genres but for the sake of it, I'll provide a sample of how I would start a romance centered roleplay.
Scenario Sample: Calla Rose Ryker sat up in bed from another nightmare and panicked and looked around, needing to ground herself in the fact she was home and not in fact back her father as he sped...Enough of that, Calla marshalled her thoughts and looked down at the girl in bed beside her. "Oh Anna...I'm so glad you sleep so soundly," She arose from bed gently as to leave her girlfriend sleeping and went to the kitchen to grab a beer. It wasn't fair that at 25, after 8 years, the memory of that night still haunted her, and she dealt with that unfairness by drinking. And despite being unwilling to admit it, the amount could be considered addiction level most days.
